line and grease a 2lb loaf tin
Add the sugar,
flour, egg, nutmeg and cinnamon to the tea and fruit, mix well ensuring everything
is well incorporated.
this is quiet a wet mix when all mixed together, so don't panic, it works everytime, and is beautifully moist.
Transfer the
mixture to the loaf tin
Bake in the
oven for 1 hour and 20-30 minutes
Leave to cool
in the tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack.
Serve in slices
with butter
this brack will keep for about a month stored in an airtight tin.
