  1. YVONNE,
Great cards today. What better way to spend a Saturday in an Irish summer. All the girls were sooo nice. You're an inspiration, and your pear and almond cake, what can I say?!. The dinner was delicious, the chat and all the fiddly bits that make up the 5 beautiful cards......did I mention the pear and almond cake! Where else would you get it. x m

  4. Hi Yvonne, just a note to say thanks for a wonderful day. What can I say, good food, good company and card making....we had it all today. All the cards are so pretty and tho. I had planned to give some as birthday cards, they are just too beautiful to give away. I think I'll be holding on to these for a while lol. It was great to learn a few new techniques today and I love what you did with the ribbon and beads. I'll be using that in the future. The quality of your card and embellishments is of course top dollar as usual which gives that professional finish to all your cards. The food was A La Carte, truly scrumptious. I'll be back for more of your cooking and crafting. Thanks again for a very enjoyable day.

  5. thank you so much Mary,
I added the recipe for the pear and Almond tart, it cost about €10.00 to make, but serves 10 good slices.
see you on the 12th of August.
the next workshop is full already, and I could fill it twice over, but then we would have to go to the hotel, and you would get the home cooking or the tart, so I think I will say where I am.
looking forward to the next one already, just off to buy the red lace on line.

  8. Yvonne,
Had grear fun making this card for my niece's husband. He's a big soccer fan so I used Annfield and him as the easel. Love the shape. Bought the wedding CD so going to do the wedding card shortly. Thanks so much for your generosity and sharing, Also for the competition.
