How the evening will work is
The first month I will do the kit, which we will make on the evening, if anyone would like to share a card tutorial with the other guests they are are more than welcome. we will then have our cuppa and a chat, sharing any new tips we have picked up, every month someone in the group can volunteer to do the kits, and we can change the venue if that suits everyone, its not a club, just card makers who want to enjoy an evening card making, so far 6 people have asked to come along, I think I can fit 12 comfortably, so sorry but places will have to be limited,

What you need to bring
Scissors, Glue, Foam Pads, Double sided Tape,
peel-offs, gems and any extra sparkle you want to add,
some spare sheets of card to try new folds.
I don't do stamping, but would like to try a few new techniques, so bring some ink pads, markers, and chalks.
You never know we might create something totally new.

Two other cards I made today
Christening card for a Baby Boy, image from Daisy Company
This card was for a teacher retiring, who is a mad Kerry GAA supporter, they also wanted a 1984 Toyota Yaris, somewhere on the card, but after spending nearly 2 hours trying to find an image I gave up, I got a beautiful retirement poem for teacher to go on the inside,
I hope to add a verses page to my blog soon, so will put the verse on the new page . Book Worm image from Daisy Company, all suppliers links in the right hand column.
Today at my class I showed the ladies how to make paper roses from punched flowers.
we added some stickles for sparkle
Black cream and gold make this card very rich looking, lovely guipure lace added to the side with pearls added for detail, punched gold leaves add that extra elegance, this card was left blank with a best wishes insert, so it could be used for any occasion
Pink silver and white layers with a frilled lace band with some pearls added for detail, we added some large paper leaves, and stuck silver leaf peel-offs to acetate and cut them out, sticking them randomly under the paper roses
Punched flowers from a Nellie Snellin punch and embossing set, with gems added to the center, and a lovely Kanban image, matted and layered on to white, and silver card, some embossed strips added either side.
Main image Flower fairy zinnia , with a punched petal flower, there is 12 layers in this flower, and we added some card candy across the punched strip
