My Next Class is Wednesday the 9th of February
Theme this month Simply Romance
Beautiful cards suitable for Valentines Day, but would also be perfect for Anniversaries and Engagements
Lots of Hearts, Ribbon, Paper Roses and bling. but not all of them will be red, there's one all white one in this class
Places limited to 8 and a light lunch provided, everything needed supplied just come along

Here are the cards we made at my class this week



This is a Concertina card in Brown and blues, I saw a similar design on Amazing Paper Grace, but Becca had much nicer bits, so we did the best job with what was to hand, the front panel die-cut shapes are from my Cricut, which is only new, but which  had a lot of fun trying to get it to work,



C5 Panel card in Blue Navy and white, with ribbon and lace detail, the topper was cut on the cricut,



This Card is all white, although it looks cream in the picture.
I cut a A5 piece of card and punched it on the 2 long edges, I stuck some wide ribbon around the main panel, the 2 bottom panels are embossed with a cuttle bug swirl design embossing folder and the 3 top panels have been embossed with a polka dot Crafts Too folder, the center panel is again off the cricut, and was embossed with the swirl folder, and I made a little greeting plate and mounted it on silver, used pearls peel-offs and a ribbon to finish it off. I think this was one of Cards by America Designs which stuck in my head.





This Rose card is a Clip art image and the frame and shadow frame are from the cricut, we used a pale pink ink pad to soften the white frame, added some pearls a pink organza bow a lovely heart, ( which was a necklace from Penny's) The main panel has a wide pink ribbon with a lace overlay, and finished with a bow

Well I got my cricut out of its box and had a go at cutting, found the instructions easy to follow and managed to cut lots of different shapes, the gypsy was harder, but after a few goes at registering it on cricut, I managed to sort it out, and upload the 5 free cartridges, so my next class shall be full of interesting extras. I have found some new designs to get the year off to a very creative start

Hi to everyone looking in, That was some storm last night, the weather has turned to rain, and I for one are really glad of it, I have cabin fever, as I have hardly seen a soul since the second snow fall, What are you all up to ?.
I have been playing about with my blog adding changes, and some Christmassy music, which I should of done earlier, and a new photo slide show of some more recent makes, I got a cricut and gypsy before I had my operation, and haven't even opened it, so over the next few days I will start playing, as I have a class planned for the 19th of January and would love some new embellishments on the class cards.

Have you finished your Christmas shopping,?
I have everything done, and managed to finished my last few Christmas Wreaths yesterday,
It's been very quiet on the Card making front, and this year I was glad of it, but next year will come back to it with great commitment, as I have lots planned, classes will kick off the 3rd week in January weather permitting, and then we have the Krafty Hands fun day to think about in March, loads more information will be added in January, the 2 lads are away until January, so full details will be posted once there back into crafting,
Hope you all have a very Happy Christmas, and I will catch up with you in January.

I am really sorry to have to tell you that the
Kilcoole Craft Club's
Christmas Party is CANCELLED
Due to the recent bad weather, we have decided to postpone out Christmas Party until the new year, with freezing conditioned, I feel it would be to dangerous to drive home,
We can choose a new date at our next Club meeting in January.
I will post updates nearer the time.

Hello from a very snowy Co Wicklow, it's picture postcard outside today, beautiful bright day, but getting cold again, we have a week of this very cold weather to look forward to, so great time to finish off all those Christmas cards, I am card making myself today trying to catch up with my own cards, will post a few pictures during the week, we went to Craigavon yesterday Christmas shopping, and am delighted to be nearly finished, really looking forward to our Club Christmas party on the 8th of December in the Parkview Hotel Newtown Mount Kennedy, at 7.30 there are still some tickets left, if you haven't made up your mind weather to go or not, why not join us for a great Christmassy start, Members can email me for full details,

Little Violets Easel Card, with a full card and insert on the easel. image from crafts-u-print



This card is a 2 in one card, the main card has been cut away, with a Dl card stuck to the back panel, iit is decorated inside and ourside, and is finished with a collage of pansies. image from Daisy company


This lovely little Card is 2 card stuck together, and the front of each card scored and folded back, again it was decorated inside and outside and has a lovely poem added.

This Stepper card is scored on the crafters companion board on the lid side, of the box maker, and has a lovely image of a fairy and matching background paper from the new Card creations plus Enchanted Cd . with a fairy poem, greeting and butterflies added.

My Craft group Smaointe Iontacha are holding an afternoon of crafting on Sun 28th Nov in the hall in
