We are making 3 cards, full details further down the page.

Card Art Fun Evening
Tuesday the 4th of February
Time 7.30 to 10.00
When I was a child I loved looking through my Mum's
Birthday and Valentine Cards from my Dad
most of them has a satin fabric finish and were padded.
The ones I received over the years are buried some where in the attic, so this month, we are going to create a vintage style padded Valentine card, with one of the beautiful little Gold Cupids.
there are still a few places, email me or phone me to book in.
Yvonne

Some of today's cards
This was one of the all white cards I made last week,
which I updated by adding some pink for a 50th Birthday

40th Anniversary

70th Birthday

Valentines Day Card
The little gold cupid is one I made from the new Silicone mould I bought, there so easy to make, with air dry clay, then I sprayed them with florist gold paint.

Pink Valentine
The cameo and frame are resin, I got them on ebay,
but last week I bought 2 new cameo frames and 2 beautiful cameo moulds from Ebay.
I was just so sorry, I got them the day before, the beautiful range of silicone moulds were launched by
Katy Sue Designs Cake Decorating range,
their new moulds are just fantastic, with fantastic crisp detail.
I'll just have to save a few bob to get some of theirs next month.
I am just waiting on some new coloured clay I ordered to arrived, to have a go at the cameos and frames.
will share them once the clay arrives.

Had to share this one with you today, it not mine.
It was made by Aiveen Judge.
absolutely beautiful.

I watched Katy Sue's Cake crafting on Create and Craft last night, and although it was Sugar craft, I took some inspiration from the demonstrator, and turned it into cards.
their new cup cake molds are just amazing, such fine detail, and as I have just started to make some clay embellishments, was fascinated with their range, and will defiantly be on to order some.

This was the first design that caught my eye, but the card was a bit big, so changed it for the Square Scalloped card instead. below
this was the mold used.

check their site out if you love baking.
"cake heaven"
Pictures of the cakes made are not on the blog yet, but the cupcakes will blow you away.

This was the 2nd design I thought I would try,
What do you think.?

Hello everyone looking in
Here is the card we made last night at the club.
I received a similar card for Christmas from Nancy and Barbara, and when the girls saw it they askd to do it last night.
I will add a tutorial later today.
5 inch Sq Scalloped Aperture box card.
I used 2 cards to make this design.
I have used the couture creations embossing folder
(Tied Together) as the back ground, it has a beautiful framed cameo, which has a lace edge detail. in the centre.
and a lovely miniature bouquet with tassle down the side edge, it opens fully for an insert.
there is room at the bottom of the aperture for a greeting.

This is the overview image.
