Cards from Saturdays Workshop

18th Birthday
This card has matting layers in coordinating colours, the main panel has a double printed layer which was rolled back to reveal the second paper, with Guipure lace behind the roll, embossed tags, tiny matching roses and glitter die-cut numbers. and finished off with peel-offs

21st Birthday
This is a table top card, with a mini easel card on the front,
I used Martha Stewart punches and got help with the gold writing from Jackie Mooney,
it's finished with a double bow and tiny pearls.
second picture shows card flat with easel card opened

40th Birthday
This Card has 2 layers of punched boarder panels with a strip of guipure lace on the panel, silver and floral paper background and a greeting layered to match, finished with punched mulberry flowers, gems and peel-offs.

50th Birthday card
This was my favourite card of the day, it's a 15cm cream Square card, with a 15cm Sq gold panel, the lace has been wrapped around each corner and secured at the back of the gold card and attached to the main cream card., the heart is a sizzix die-cut, which cuts the open heart and leaves the middle which was then recessed into the middle of the heart, we made a miniature floral arrangement and added glitter die-cut numbers and some pearls to finished.
Sorry for poor quality of pictures, I think I need a new memory card for my camera

thanks Sinead Keogh
Hi Yvonne, thanks for the email. Had a great day yesterday and all the cards were beautiful, I really enjoyed making them. I don't mind where we meet for card crafting, I'll make the best of it no matter what and try to be prepared for all eventualities. On a practical note, I think the Leisure Centre would be better especially in the colder weather. I suppose there are pros and cons with both venues. Thanks again for a lovely day yesterday. Hope I will be able to make the next one you hold. Will be in touch, and thinking of you before your surgery. God Bless.
Luv mary
