Hi everyone
I still have 3 places for my
Vintage Christmas full day class
on Sunday the 6th of November
Time 10.30 to 5.30

Well isn't it the most awful day,
what a storm yesterday, and the rain is coming down in bucket fulls.
I have started putting the samples together today for my next workshop in Kilkenny
so should have photo snippets to share later in the week,
I dropped my camera a few weeks ago, so went out and bought a new one on Monday,
it's different settings to my old one, so will take a while for me to sort it out. below are some cards
I have been working on  this morning.
This card is for a couple expecting twins as they don't know what sex the babies are I chose lemon and green,
with a lovely poem inside, found on google.
Ten little fingers, ten little toes,
Two chubby cheeks and a cute button nose.
Put these all together and multiply by two -
What a lot of blessings
are on the way to you!
Pink and blue, yellow and green,
All colours for babies yet unseen.
This time it’s twins, isn’t that fine
2 babies on which the stars will shine.

This one was for a lady who had passed her exams in Herbalism
and found images associated with herbalism on google images

This A4 card is for an 18th Birthday
the girl is into ballet, and I had the cute ballet shoes
in my box of charms,

Just back from Clonegal
A huge big thank you to Margaret Driver for organising the event,
and to Yvonne Dunne, Patricia O Leary for all their help during the day, and to the Girls who helped with the setting up and clearing away at the end of the evening,
Thank you to everyone who brought the lovely home baking.
and to everyone for their warm hospitality.
We got lost coming home so didn't get back until 8.15,
Valerie nearly went out the window.she brought us in a complete circle and 45 minuets after leaving the hall, were back there.
Maybe the witches  from Clonegal Castle, didn't want me to leave.
And to top it all, I had the keys to the hall in my pocket,
So sorry Yvonne, for nearly giving you a heart attach.
Will pop photos up in the morning.
I have to Say Clonegal is a very pretty village, and on the way home we went through Bunclody, which I would like to see during the day, as it looked like a beautiful town.

Congratulations to Phil Curran for winning the challenge prise.

Thank you to Marie Fox for bringing her shop along,
and for the raffle prise.
Have a lovely restful Sunday
all the best
Yvonne xx

Hello everyone
And happy Friday to you all,
What are you all doing for the weekend,?
Well I'm off to Clonegal, to do a Workshop
for Margaret Drivers craft club members and guests.
I am all ready for tomorrow,

I have one place come free for this class as someone had to cancel this morning, so if you want to come then please email me HERE for more details, Full details are on the workshop page.

I have spent an hour this morning baking apple tarts, as Margaret brought be the biggest basket of Apples on Tuesday. as I have friends calling in later today,
2 of my new props have arrived to use when photographing my cards, but I won't share them until the others come .(hopefully on Monday).

Have heard some bad feedback about the Belfast show,
there are very few card making stands, and very few cross stitch, it isn't the same company organising it as in April,
most of the girls were disappointed, and it closed early last night at 5.00 even though tickets said 8.00
so hope you won't have a wasted journey.

Will share the cards we make tomorrow on Sunday.
have a great weekend where ever you are, and if you coming on Saturday to Clonegal, see you there.

I have spent quiet a lot of time trying to find stylish stands to display my Cards on, to photograph them, to show here on my blog, I'm not much of a photographer, but managed to find 5 items which might help today, when they arrive, I will share them with you, I think this could be quiet a nice market for someone, who has a wood turner in the family. making small decorative wooden stands to sit the card on.
If you know someone please ask them to get in touch with me, so that I can explain what I mean.
Came across this Blog this morning, and thought you might like it, Inspirational Craft Blog HERE
they share photo's of work they find interesting,
of lots of different crafts, by different crafter's
from around the world.

What happened to the Indian summer they promised us.
Hope everyone at the GBCE is having a lovely time, and enjoying the classes and demonstrations,
Can't make it this year, as Michael is working all weekend.
Which is probably a good thing, as I am using the time to make the kits for Clonegal.
Will add some photo snippets during the week,
Everything has arrived except my ink,
so hopefully Monday, I can start bagging up
Have a great weekend everyone
see you all soon
